Bosch Motorsport 044 Fuel Pump Coupe Fitting Guide
i used the 3b basket and strainer, rs2 pipe fitting so it connects straight to the factory line on s2. opened up the basket and slig pupm in and cable tied up.
never had an issue.
make sure the pump is at the same height as before.
take 2 lengths of wire that are battery to relay. I had to run mine down the car to engine bay.
get relay and connect one of the current terminals (30) to one wire. fit fuse to wire. this is live feed.
get other wire and connect to - on fuel pump. this goes to - terminal.
cut brown and yellow and green. fit connectors and connect to triggers on relay.
TPS now want ÂŁ47 + vat for the banjo bolt and ÂŁ43+vat for the reservoir
It's a standard size metric banjo, no need to spend 50 quid on one that comes in an Audi plastic bag. Someone can confirm the size, I'm sure it's posted in this thread somewhere.
Old thread but i have a question about the cables, did you all leave the original cables and reused them? The 044 wants more amps than the original one? I guess its not possible to run new 4mm² cabels into the tank?
There is an upgrade that should be done with a seperate power cable and relay direct from the battery I'll try find a link but mine is still running on the original wiring with no issues at the minutee as I haven't got round to doing this yet
I sent error a message, but i was meaning the cables that is in the tank?(does not see them on the pic) No point of changing everything else is you leave old one in the tank or are those included in the kit?
