Few questions :

a) when you install pump you don't install pressure dumper on top of the fuel pump right ? Just a selfmade nut on top of it ?

b) Have you removed the nut from the bottom of the fuel pump ?

c) Where can i find such banjo bolt as on the picture !!! ? And what is the part number.

d) where is fuel pressure regulator located in the car ? I want to change mine to 5bar version.

a) Yes. I made one M12x1.50.

b) No. Just a plastic plug.

c) The banjo is an Audi part, P/N N 903 307 01.

d) Underneath the IM. A bit of a PITA to get to.

Update!

The strainer part (531 A) is not needed for coupe! The original strainer is the absolutely same part. It seems so that on 43mm small pump base (779 J) comes with the strainer but the larger 60mm doesn't and that's why it's listed in family album a bit strangely.

Where to buy the fitting parts ??

The parts you require to fit the Bosch 044 (0 580 254 044) fuel pump are:

Reservoir: 895 201 779 H
Strainer: 895 201 531 A
Adapter (Banjo) N 903 307 01
Sealing Washers (x2) N 013 812 8
M12x1.5 Dome Nut (in place of damper)
