hah,
Tried to call you all day long, but no oslo los on the other end!
Anyways,
Been fiddling around today a ended up glassblasting all available bits just for fun.
The new blaster is so effective its almost fun to blast.
I know everyone likes pictures, so here are a few of today:
Work bench, dirty as harry and me:
Old looking oilpan..:
..and old looking bits getting prepared for..:
The cabinet of doom (for old looking alu parts):
But first, a little washy washy:
Then the end result, ready for paint:
I also ended up blasting all the bolts to zink them in a new colour to match the rest of the bling. Oh this enginebay is going to be shiny when done. I almost cant wait.
I also got the new spacers on 20mm on each side, to get the avus perfect inline with the wheelarch. No it only comes down to how low i can go with the coilovers then..
cheers,
Is 20mm really needed to fit the H&R cupkit? I currently have 15mm spacers front and rear to fit the H&R lowering springs and stock shocks
Head is finished, and soon deliverd to my tuner who has the bottom end and will complete the two into a longblock with some custom pistons for my setup ++ some other snacks in bits and bobs.
Woohoo, this will be sweet
New rims arrived at a mates garage, so the avus' vill go away this season sadly.
H&R clubsport coilovers is currently beeing sendt to norway, and I also orderd some parts off 034MS today.
I am currently unsure of one thing at the moment. Will i use the Furans EM or go for a Rs2 Evo 2 EM. Each option have their pros and cons, but if i go for the rs2 setup I will be able to use the Rs2 airbox and aircon..
..but then again, who needs aircon on trackdays?
Otherwise I am working my *** off, and when I dont do that i do some video editing which can be seen on Youtube:
I want to see the BBS LM's in Gold again on your car they look amazing................
lol, dont spoil anything now Thanks, but if I only had the money those would be the wheels for sure!
Thanks anyway Big Lee
More pics to come in the end of the month, when Im home in the garage for some serious summervacation-power-garage-rieger-tuning
Anyone from here whos going to gatebil is welcome into my garage. Located approx 40min away from Rudskogen between oslo and the track. I got beer and food, and a extra bed. No worries
this car is one of the reasons why i was looking for a S2 or RS2!!! I love this S2 it´s the most beautiful car I´ve ever seen!!! RESPEKT!

Thanks for the kind words Emmanuel.
You have a really nice rs2 yourself!
My dream is to take my car down to your country and just cruise around those nice mountain roads you have
Are you kidding me? i would like to do the same but in norway, visiting gatebil etc. etc. maybe this summer or next i want to travel to norway!
If your dream come true, let me know we have realy nice mountain roads near
lol, maybe we can swith cars and apartments then (for a little while)
But really, when the car is finished, im going for a drive down there, because there is some roads in the alps I simply have to try out with my own car :mischeif:
Otherwise I have orderd Dahlbäck adj. camgear, other bits and bobs for the engine and finally I have a dilemma. Go for Recaro Pole positions or new rear brakes?!
The current seats (oem ones) did not suit the cornering speeds in my previous setup, and they will prob not be up for it now either. On the other side, new rear brakes are needed..
Anyone with some advices?
a pic of the recaro's in mind(leather and alcantara):
