No news on the motor. Not been in the garage since christmas, so its alot to do when i get home..
Anyway, I soon have my claws on a new suspension setup which I think will be ok on trackdays:

I am not looking for a new engine Casper, Im currently building one, and that is rather difficult when I work in a whole other part of norway and my car is in the other end of the country. But soon it will drive again and more movies and pics are to follow.

I actually haven't seen the car since christmas '07..

H&R Clubsport Fahrwerke in "Nürburgring-Abstimmung" sind der Einstieg in schnelle Rundenzeiten. Im Gegensatz zu herkömmlichen Zweirohr-Dämpfern vermindern die hier verwendeten Einrohr-Gasdruckdämpfer selbst im härtesten Einsatz ein Aufschäumen des Dämpferöls. Das Eintauchen des Vorderwagens wird durch die an der Vorderachse angewendete UPSIDE-DOWN Technik vermindert, gleichzeitig verkürzt sich der Bremsweg. Finally done with the easter holiday (1 week with beer'n skiing), so finally I got some TLC with the s2.
Got the front struts shipped out so hopefully I get some other ones in return soon
Now its only washing and painting of engine pieces and the rear subframe refurb that are left to be done.
Engine is still not back, but that is due to my much time away. But I'll get it back soon hopefully.

Ps, anyone got alubushes ( x 4) for the rear subframe lying aorund?

What engine are you looking for, i am selling my complete 3b soon, with loom and everything. New head gasket new timing belt and some new other bits, oilseals and bla bla..

Urq-island: No, the struts were shipped to a friend of mine, then he takes care of the rest. Very nice bloke!
Im not after an engine, im only after NM

Today i got the sand/glass blasting machine up and running, and I started to blast away the parts i have lying around. Its brilliant to have such a machine in the garage.
I also got the new spacers on 20mm on each side, to get the avus perfect inline with the wheelarch. No it only comes down to how low i can go with the coilovers then..

Some other news is that the head is on its way to be fully rebuild with carporn parts, and when that is done, the block is shorty finnished. So, its not long now before the nice bits start arriving in.

Its nice to be spening some time with the s2 again. But on sunday im off to work again, so it will be fun to see how long untill next time. oh well. Glad its only a hobby
