Really good pics Anders, I love the one of the 'battle field'. Looking forward to see your progress on this.

          Keep up the good work!

          Cheers.

Im using the ferrita ones. takk takk

@ bo: Got a lot of comments that it looked so brutal with all the parts lying like they were ripped of in a hurry, so it really got me thinking it all looked like one battlefiled
Progress is going on. More pictures to come after some assembly.
Ah, its so nice to work with new/painted parts. No more dirty hands

This week Breitling went by with his awesome Rs2! He did go for a fast coiloverchange so now he is the "king of coilovers" on any car
Anyway that Rs2 is so nice and the sound it makes is just making me horney and giving me inspiration for continuing on my pile of parts (s2).

Here's some pictures from last week:

                A little update:

Things are going very slowly, but some bits are falling on well.
Im sick of washing the underside of the car now. WHAT a pita job.
Engine is probobly not in before christmas due to my work, but the rest of the car should be finished by then.. If the project dont evolves even more
If all goes well, maybe its all together by christmas (i sure hope!)

The drivetrain is very pretty though. Dont have a pic, so one will come later on..

                cheers,
                Anders

                  Update time

Argh, just about to put on the upper rear wishbones and drop the car to the ground yesterday when I noticed that I got the wrong bushes for the inner joint. They are to big and cannot be mounted on the car. Typical. See pic.

Also I got a ride in a '68 fastback the other day (mustang), with a 427 lump, supercharger, and everything else to match, and that was born to make high speeds, pushing 781hp and 950nm out of that bigblock! Damn that thing was quick.
We went for a little drive spinnig the rear street tyres to about 100mph when going off the throttle. That was so awesome that I almost want one immideate. My dad also let me cruise around in a orginal shelby from '66 (!), and I suspect he is trying to get me converted from dkw (as he calls it) to ford. I am confused!

Also got a new propshaft bearing from gt500 on here! Top notch!

anyways, here are some before/after pics:

oh yeah, I did not paint the car under. That I'll save for another time

                    one more pic then,

The wheelbearing is beeing replaced, but I only got 1 from autohauz usa, so have to wait for 3 more (thats why its dirty):

Your name shoud be referenced in the dictionary next to "persistance" Anders !

Lol, thanks for the commet David, but it is still FAR away from beeing that good. One thing is that it takes time to do all this. I did never expect it to take that much time! Next time, when I have the time ( ) I will take the rest so it all matches.

@ Papvas: I had just put the old brakelines on when I suddenly renemberd that I had brand new Goodridge ss braided hoses lying around. They did go on like oem. Top notch

@ Urquattro-island: No forgot that. It looks just like the oem s2 one, only newer.

Wonder when my parts from sweden will arrive?! oh well, have to wait untill christmas to see next time

Got the rear diff on place today. everything is going well, except I'm missing joints for the diff->axle, and wheelbearings all over. Anyone got any ideas where to buy decent quality joints and 82mm wheelbearings for my s2? www.autohaususa.com did'nt have any left and they had SKF parts with very good prices..

Todays pics, Diff getting the axels removed (look how bad they are ):

Diff on car, looks okay, will be better with new joints, oil and axels fitted:

Anyone spot anything dirty here? :
