Cheers for the comments guys, but I know its far from mint.. Lots to do before I can say I'm happy.
But, the toyo's do really work! I did pull away from cars with much more BHP than me in the corners, but did I get caught up on the straights in the end.
Not one indication for understeer yet, but oversteer is "nema problema" as they say :mischeif:
It was great fun driving it again, but now i need to get the whole engine and suspension worked out so it really does pull som "claimed high hp" cars. LOL.
Also did get to se AudiCQ on the track (roger), and boy does that stroker thing move!!
@ Jamo: No, i did my own kit. got some spare hoses and connections and worked it out pretty good since the OEM water kit was removed and the oil turn/return modified.
Yes when its dynoed I will run home and post the charts
..but i suspect it might take some time..
@ David: no its not. belive me. MUCH more to be done before I can call it mint
Reading the 19 pages non stop, of all of the things you've done to the car anad all of the set-backs, blow ups, garage changes/lack of garage, is like an emotionally rollercoaster without leaving one's PC. Well done and keep up the "hard work".
When it's going right it's the best, when it blows up or has an untraceable fault, one wants to burn it!
When it's mapped, as I know you will, please post the details of flywheel bhp and the revs, the level of boost and what revs it starts to boost at, ( after all the discussion about the size of the turbo ! ? ), and also infomation about the torque in nm or ft lbs.
Now that you might a driven it a bit more, do you think the 034 motosport engine mounts are too harsh/firm? (As a matter of interest does anyone know of alternative between standard OEM and the 034 mounts?) (Sorry Corey).
Thanks again for posting all your experiences and all of the photos. The new camera is much better.
BTW, do you know the part number of your rear tailgate spoiler/brakelight? OEM?

Thanks again and kind regards.
Wow, thank you for those kind words David!
The enginemounts from 034ms is a very good upgrade, and you can feel diffrence in much smoother gearchange and engine response. The downside is the noise inside the cabin at some low revs. But now that I can not live without them, I would deffinetly recomend them (if you like your ride to be a little firmer and harsher than oem).
The car is in everyday business and it works great. I just have a small boostleak, but that is sorted when new bits arrive. The car goes so well that the bushes have given it all up, finally. I suspect the toyo's eating bushes when I go WOT every now and then, so now I need to source some decent roadtyres and keep the semislicks off and just for trackdays.
Nilshenr: Now where did you get that from?
Breitling: not a s3, but a caddy 1,4tdi !
Jamo: see you on the track. .....if you can catch up! hahah!
No, im not selling it yet. Too much blood, tears and love in it.
