Thanks for all the supporting replies, really does me good
Looking at these pictures really breaks my heart, such a shame, ofcourse our lives are more important but still seeing another scarce S2 bite the dust gets to me...
Also looking at the pictures and rerunning this crash event in my mind I realise how fragile we are and thank goodness I'm still here with you all typing this.. phew...

Not sure what I'm going to do with the car yet, depends on what I could get for the whole thing in it's current state. I might decide to sell the bits that are still ok. I have the idea the engine parts are still ok and the exhaust too which is only a couple of months old but I'll check this more precisely in a couple of days or so....

      bye now

Thanks to bikes having a fuel tank I have some strange looking wedding tackle at the mo.. :-/

We should post some pics of our legs as a comparo eh?

John - too many bikers have died at the Nurburgring - take the S2 the next time - glad you are OK.

ZR - Lucky to come out of that one mate - glad to hear that you're mostly in one piece. You'll feel gutted about the car, for sure, but when you get out and about on your feet again, and breath in fresh air, thankful you're alive, the car will suddenly feel somewhat less important.

Hey! Let's be careful out there - glad to hear you've survived a potentially very very nasty bump too John...
