Little update..

The engine ran perfect for the first 1000km or so, but at one evening I heard a verrrry light knock when revs dropped from 1500-1000rpm,. Only to be heard at night, with no surrounding noises, and with a warm engine... it really was that light.

The next 5-600km it got a little bit worse, but still nothing major. It still started, ran, pulled perfectly.

But since it wasn't normal, we decided to go for a search. First we changed the camchain, then the oilpump, but still not solved. Then we measured the crank again with plastigages -> all perfect. Next step was a possible wrist pin... pistons came out, but nothing with those. After that me measured the pistons, and there we had it... one was out of tolerance! Very strange, since only 1500km ago they all were still ok.

Anyway, block has been bored to first oversize with new Mahle pistons. Been driving it for about 6-700km now, and it's perfect.

It was a fair bit of bad luck, but to be honest... it was done before I knew it! Taking that engine out again really went ultra quick. At least now I know pretty much everything on the engine is new now
