Life has been manic lately and I’ve had very little or no forum time. The S2’s been brilliant with the new suspension set up, and we’ve been putting some mileage on it. It has got filthy mind, as you can see.
Still love driving it as a daily, and they’re starting to get more attention now.

I've had my car out a few times but only on the dryer days. You don't see these cars on the road these days. I've never seen any Audi 80 on the road for many months. Even the B5's are getting scarce these daysComment

Well, I’ve had a week working in Wales again, and the opportunity to take the S2 was too good to miss, so last Sunday the S2 headed west 275 miles to Aberystwyth.
On the way down, west of Rhayader.
On Aberystwyth Marine Parade.
Those who follow Dave’s posts (Tractor Dave) might just recognise this lay-by on the A487.
And, yes I did pop in to see Dave.
for a spot of ‘KWv3 country lane hopping’ with the old girl.
Once finished, it looked like this….
And even worse, once I got home this afternoon over 700 miles later.
Suffice to say, it didn’t miss a beat and is an epic car for trips like that. Utterly wonderful.
Just got to wash it now…

I can't descrbe how competent the car is with the power, suspension, comfort and even brakes. The bottom line is, everything could be better, but they're currently equally balanced with each other and it's hard to suggest going for more 'anything' without ruining the 'other bit'.
It's far from perfect, but it's perfect for that type of road trip....
It is just epic.

The epicentre of the earthquake was west of Crickhowell, Powys...
i drove through Crickhowell on the A40 12-hours before that with the S2.... You don't think it could have caused a disturbance do you?
