Well, the EFIExpress coils are pretty impervious to water... 30 miles in torrential rain back from Eastbourne today and an HGV bow wave so huge it covered the whole car at 60mph... Nasty weather out there.. But the old girl did fine... Brakes all appear good too, with plenty of feel to them and plenty of 'stop' too. Pads are a bit dusty, but I can live with that.

Interesting one to note, I had these arrive yesterday, and fitted today. Proxes T1R's.
Now I've had a low rumble/vibration under hard acceletation for a while and have been quietly fearing the worst... Changed the front tyres today (minimum tread) and bingo... its gone... The rears have nearly new tread depth.
I"ve read a thread on here a while back where similar occurred...Last edited by Ian Simmonds; 9 October 2012, 16:32.85 WR Urquattro, 85 20vT International liveried RallyRep

I have a complaint to make....
The new exhaust is costing me a fortune...., not only are the windows now permanently stuck wide-open, but also the car appears to be stuck in first or second gear and with random bursts of violent acceleration next to walls, churches, shops, totty or other random objects.... Fuel economy has been ruined, the kids refuse to go anywhere unless its in the S2 and the dog can now identify the car from 300yds away....

Well, fitted up the undertray ready for winter, which was less of a challenge than I thought. I imagined the bigger oilcooler might be an issue, but with a bit of adaption it went on all okay....
And when I say ' cracking sound' for the full twin box, 3" turbo back Miltek, it does have to be put into context....
Here's a quick clip of the Ur and the S2 on cold start this morning... And, erm, its pretty hard to hear the S2....
