    Kit bumping his S2

Here are the aftereffects of an unfortunate accident in which Kit was at the wheel, I shall let the pictures do the talking:

Kit was understandably distraught at all this but as we had a good look around the car it was clear that the chassis was still straight and the doors shut just fine. This was crucial and was when I suggested he put this car aside, work on his powerful drag/race engine and then let the car rise again faster and more deadly. If anyone is capable of this it is Kit, and he then immediately improved in mood and dare I say excitement at the prospect of a new more powerful monster.

Just look what he did to that big ding in the rear quarter, a JCB a bit of spot welding and dolly play and you'd never know.

Rest assured this car will return, as it looked before, maybe the odd scratch and ding to imply it's an old banger, but an old banger with a brutal power pack...

    Never rains but it pours.

Can only get better, look for the silver lining.

    Best wishes.

That's more of a thump than I was expecting Kit...

      Happy you are ok...

As a good friend always tell me, a repair is the best time and good reason for upgrading!

You'll have it straight and singing, I have no doubt...

As Kit would say, "It's looks worse than it is"...

What happened? Mechanical fault or ran out of talent?

also glad there were no pedestrians / children around. They would not have fared well looking at that.

Maybe all S2 drivers should sit a mandatory advanced driving course

I need an offside wing and a bonnet, preferably in emerald green, the rest is salvageable.

What happened..... I exited a corner at a NON exciting speed, the next thing I knew I was on fire in the middle of the road.

It wasn't a road pedestrians and children use, especially at that time of day.

Passed such a test years ago, apparently I'm in the top 97% of drivers.

Charlie wins for damage, Kt for salvageable bits
