Sorry to see your motor temporarily inconvenienced Kit,
but you'll have it rising phoenix-like in no time I'm sure

Oh No, Kit, not yours as well??
              At least you're both ok.
It does prove that whilst we all think that quattro can walk on water, at least when the unthinkable happens, you've got some proper metal around you, unlike many of the annoying little cars that so many people drive nowadays.
Desperately sad about the RS2; but at least yours will probably rise again like a phoenix (and with a whole lot more horses than before, maybe??)

              Good luck with it Bud

My goodness Kit, glad you are clearly alright! Shame about the motor but as Charlie says fix it up to be a more powerful beastie.
Just to reiterate that cars can be fixed or replaced......well some can..... but shumans cannot be so easily.

Time for new tyres! Is that front right not a directional? Usually the grooves would run from the middle of the tyre to the shoulder as the car drives forwards.

Glad you are okay. And yes, as joked above, there is clearly something in the water, that's two green painted five pots in as many weeks!

2 busted up within about 15 miles of each other, there's something in the air if not the water. I've bought my dashcam now though

Correct, the road was like glass so the outcome would have been the same had they been new.

Sorry to see this Kit, hope it's all easily repaired.

Bad things happen in threes don't they say, so we all need to take it steady for a while.
