I'm selling second generation of modified k26 turbo with cnc matched wheel. First generation was tested on my car. It managed to pull 430HP with 1.5 bar boost peek and 507 Nm limited for stock rods safety.
This turbo is after full rebuild that includes:
- new compressor wheel
- new exhaust wheel
- cleaning the turbo with very small glass parts
- changing both bearings (plain and thrust) for higher performance ones
- changing seals in the turbo
- changing o-rings
- changing screws
- changing deflectors
- re-profiled compressor cover to match compressor wheel
Balancing turbo low and hi speed with very high tolerances. Like new
First gen sizing (cold side):
inducer 54,50
exducer 76,70
tip 76,70 mm
I have sold two first gen turbos. Now is the time for second generation
This one has new race blade (cold side):
inducer 56,50 mm
exducer 78 mm
extended tip 81 mm
same weight as the first gen blade
That can safety deliver 450 HP and more. On my setup with first gen I had stock 3B head with both 7A cams and it made 430 HP. It is ultimate turbo for stock engine (I recommend not more than ~500NM on stock rods to be safe), much better than RS2 one, with aftermarket exhaust manifold (stock kkk k24 mount on manifold) it can do wonders. It will hold boost up over 7000 rpm when the first gen lost after 6000 rpm.
Spools very good, there is almost no lag when the turbo is in the revs. I will put the same turbo in my car for track racing in 2015. https://www.facebook.com/AudiS2PL
Currently I am out of k26 turbos. I might have them in the future but on very non regular basis.
