the newer ones have the shaft welded differently - i am not sure i could spot the difference - i have only seen the broken shafts and new ones look normal.
they know the issues - they are repairing one for me now - they seem to be pushing tial into developing them to be more robust.Leave a comment:

Doug, I'm not aware of the versions within the tial range. Like Breitling asks, how can it be identified?Leave a comment:

Thanks... thanks guys. Yes it will be having a thermostat, I'm using a mocal thermostat and also remote filter housing, all with AN-12 fittings and hoses.
The exhaust is indeed 3,5 inch. The flexi takes some of that 3,5 inch, but its minimal. I've also got a 4" flexi piece. But will be using that when the "proper" engine is in. More info will follow shortly on that matter

Cannot believe your attention to detail
.
Is the exhaust 3.5 inch? If so does the flexi section reduce the ID of the pipe by a lot?
you must be using an oil thermostat with the cooler in that position and that big?
When will the proper engine be going in :mischeif:Leave a comment:
