Lengths is dependant on ride height you want but i'd advise 400-500lb fronts and slightly softer rear springs as a good firm setup... i cant see the SPQ weighing that much tbh and that should be plenty for stiff ride. If you wanted softer then 350 front and 300 rear may be another good basepoint.

measuring stock Quattro shocks i've gone for 9" 300lb front and 9" 275lb rears on my Coupe Quattro Rally replica...

Its been done before, putting 3,5 inch over the rear shaft. I'll give it a shot. Oval tube is also a possibility.
@ urqguy. I can send you the solidwork drawing of the line brackets.

You can get oval exhaust tube. The big engine yank stuff uses it. Should help with clearence!
I'll have a look into it, I was just curious as i've heard of a few forum members either thinking about or already doing that.

I take it that with an avant the routing is different so its better? (just incase I ever quattro my tdi)

It's pleasant to see some real progress indeed. Looks like paint on the outside in 2 weekd. That will be exciting
I bought silensers from Simons. 3,5 inch. 2 pcs, 1 long one for in the middle and one shorter that will be at the rear. I'm planning on squeezing that 3,5 inch over the subframe. So the routing will be like stock.

Great to see more progress. The machined parts are stunning! Where are you thinking of running the exhaust?

The 10v is a KV, so it's NA. I think it will be pulled out of the bay the day after it's approved by the "sva".
Has to make room for the real stuff
