Yesterday I (we) spend a full day in the machine shop drawing new bits. Imediatly machining and anodising afterwards, and what a result . Today I installed it on the car. The feed line is AN10, the return AN6. It fitted al quite snug under the car.

Nice to hear that this project inspired you to build one yourself. There is a huge effort in this project, beyond any other project I've done before. It's a demanding job, but it'll surely pay off in the end. Good luck!
Sorry, but unless the project goes bust I will be needing these myself.

I know this is going to be a long term commitment. Initially I estimated 8 years given the amount of time I get to work on it (two small children, not to mention the wife)...
However, I've been lucky to have support of couple of great friends who share the sickness..

    Looking forward to your updates!

    Cheers

I bought the kit from Polish guy, Mr. Koraszewski. He build a copy himself and got the molds from his own original Sport. Kit is Carbon Fibre and includes the roof.

I also bought ton of sheetmetal parts in that Audi parts fire sale.
I got the rear C-pillars, inner rear fenders (which match the kit perfectly), the rear trailing link brackets, full brake kit including the AP sport calipers and SQ cylinder head cover, full front reinforcement kit (all the bars), the fuel filler flap, grill hanger, front/rear control arms with ball joints. That's all I can think of at the moment.

THe car is a 1982 Ur-quattro with front end damage.
Here is the page so far. Last weekend we changed the front damaged clip and next weekend I am hoping to start taking off the rear fenders.

Your project is my inspiration! Thank you for that!

    Cheers!

The seller claimed it to be hohenester springs... I trust him on that.

Well the springs came with the kit. And I have no reference what to use on the SQ....
They are rated 800'ish on the front, Height I dunno. But I can measure bacause I will remove 2 rear struts next week. The rear uses 600'ish springs I think they are to long and to hard, but thats only a gut feeling. I will just have to find out. The proof will be in the pudding.

I thought they might have been original sport struts, I was just thrown slightly by them being height adjustable!

Do you have any information on the springs they use? Length and hardness? They look a lot longer spring than you could use on a normal UR strut!

I'll let you know on the driveshafts. Probabaly this weekend or the next weekend I'm going to test fit.

The rear URQ/CQ cv'joints are the same as the SQ CV joints. Those are the ones that have the huge nut to secure it to the hub, and not the bolt type. These are also used on the audi 100's typ43's.

Do you have any more info on your project? What oem parts do you have? I'm also looking for original SQ parts
