Fit RS2 ones (bearings) and a set of JE pistons plus the RS2 head gasket that way you won't have to split the engine again when you take the next leep up the BHP ladder

Oj,,, i used 3b crank bearings. get verdi rods or paner. and now when you got it dont to pices do a complete balencing.

Now it's rebuild time. 4 real. The engine will be like new. This will be fun. I had fun doing my own engine but this will be much more fun when I'm not paying the bills

Now, last week we got some more work done.

Dissasembled my old engine, head removed.

Got some parts cleaned up at my local Volvo dealer, tnx to my friend.

Stripped the fuel rails old paint using Gasket remover, really good!

The old block, the rod had beed bent so mutch so the bottom of the piston had shaked hand with the crank. the oil line for the piston was gone, a chip of the bottom cyl was missing.


Nice flat black paint for the fuel rail.


Some parts, oilpump etc.
Im going to clean up the oilpump before assembly, any inputs ?


Me and prosty started to take the new (old) engine appart. erlier it had its home in a 200 estate


it was in really good condition and seems to work fine !=?


A complete 3b Head, crack free new machined.

Now someparts started to arrive from 034 motorsport 6 days from order it arrived at Prostys doorstep,

Paintedmy IM flat black.





Prepared the block for some new paint






The new mainbearings looked like this? only 2 of them looked like this.
For nr 4. the others had the sides separated. Can i use theese ?

Now im only whaiting for the scat rods from Corey.....

The mains are correct, the 2 with lips are the thrust bearings just make sure to put them in the right place, block and cap are machined to fit.

Yes nummber 4 is where they fit.

Now i have finished the work on my coustom LMM 89mm.

Used a original s2 LMM then fitted to a lager body.


I reused the original mounting possitions and made custom fitting plates.
And off course Flat Black

No it is a coustom casted special coted carbon fibre/titan Muff
