Jag är nog svenskspråkig.. Så det är via arctic du fixar allting då.. Jo jag har haft att göra med honom tidigare, handlat några grejer via honom, faktiskt bra betjäning. Men måste se nu vad jag gör, om jag kör med org. kammarna eller om jag köper en 7a avgaskam. Tror det blir antingen sc61,helst ar63på avgashuset, eller gt3076r snurra, allt annat runt maskin är i ordning förutom då sprutet och nå annat smått. Har han bra pris på turbona, eller går det att pruta på priserna över huvudtaget?

Jonken: lite bättre går det men han har ju bra priser om du jämför med ace och dahlbäck. Jag betalade 13500 SEK för min T60-1

Porsche mirrors, however the right side wasn't that easy. I had to use some glue

But not to the chassis ofc . The right side will be assembled later on next week.

The mirrors fitted without any hassle, I bought them from Quattro_King and as you see there are no big issues about the look on the car.

I would recommend to buy new gaskets for the bases, mine were a little dry, so I'm ordering a new pair today. I had to customize the door with a screwdriver due to too much paint on the door, so the mirror kept sliding off, that took 4-5 seconds.

I'm very happy with the mirrors and they look really really good, since the bases are bigger in the downwards area, the old "track" from the mirrors doens't show as much as the RS2 mirror do, so it looks really nice.

I didn't need any glue, I thought I had to make a fitting support for the bracket, but I didn't. So it was really "bolt on". Except for the remake of the cables, which took me 30 minutes.

I'm more of a power mechanic (doing trannies and so on) so I thought I needed the glue, but when I did it gently, it worked as a charm. The swap was about 2 hours total work, this because my door had too much paint on the passenger side, so the bracket didn't fit 100%

I'm not very tidy when I'm working on the car. I'm repainting the wheels and "blästrar" (sand blasting) them in a few days. So I really don't care about the look on them at the moment

The Wheels, mirrors and rails will be in the same color, I hope it will look good.

Soon Eriksson will dive into my cylinders and check how the engine looks inside, that will be good. Hoping to get the head finished by the end of this week.

The Porsche brake conversion is completed (just have to bleed the brakes, didn't have any brake fluid left)



Now only the head and cams left then the assembly begins!!

3" Downpipe, open wastegate outlet, 100cell race cataclytic converter, 3" rest with 5" outlet tip.

Mirrors painted in subdued black. Looks awesome.







Bling of the engine, no where nere finished here..



The head is finished. 7DL of aluminium chips were removed from the intake and exhaust ports

Connected the new front speakers, and cleaned up the interior a bit. Only the + and - left for the recaros, and half an hour of vacuuming and the interior is finished.

Really happy with the way the car is looking now, polished the doors, and also fitted my new lower door trim / panel.

Hopefully I will get the head with the new cams by next week so I can start measuring the oil feed and return lines, and hopefully start reassembling the engine by next week. Can't wait!!! (sorry for excess use of smileys )
