The MRC600 RS4 has done a run up to 6700 RPM in 6th gear on the Autobahn, which was exactly 202mph on the GPS. It could have gone higher, probably at least 6800-6900 but they ran out of road. I'm saying "they" because there were 4 people in the car, and the outside temp was 30 degrees C
