The Avant has gone in the barn for the winter and the Coupe has moved into the workshop. First look underneath since buying and I have quite a bit to do.

So made a start dropping the oil and removing the front bumper ready to do cambelt. The oil cooler is done for as is the nissens radiator.

The underside is crusty but no serious rust so far.

The exhaust is a strange mix up.

So to begin with I’m deleting the aux rad and doing the mgb oil cooler mod. I have a spare 7a non aux hose here already. Then I will replace the radiator with a Behr one.
Front brakes will be upgraded and everything else tidied up.

When I removed the front bumper I see the original horns are still there. Only one is working though.

No plans to sell anything at the moment. I'm enjoying working on them. If anything goes, it will be the Ur first.

The seats were very grubby but have cleaned up quite well.

Computer has bled but dials look very good.

Headliner is sagging and door cards need doing.
