some days ago i tested out the brakes a bit
New brake pads.
Some days ago i installed my dl1, so now i can log stuf, the dl1 have ben laying around for atleast 2 years (elow is a movie clip) Cant wait for the trackdays next year

tryed on my 19" from the a4, they are way to big.
Now i know that the fenders swalows 245
i wonder when this hapend?? must have been in September i think.
Laser cuted the brakets for the accusump.
test mounting them
placement of accusump
modefied the pump placement.
time to tig weld the brackets.
almost there.
pluming done.
placement of the pipe.
did some powder coating.
ataching some cabels
I think they are seling them like this
just unbaged.
first layer of epoxy resin.
Just puted on the second layer.
third layer now there is some wetsanding left and polishing.

mounted the release handle,
fogmaker extinguisher installed,
at last i stressed together the sq for the big custom motor show,
realised that after the rebuild the trunk holds at least eight cases of beer

A month has passed since last post, during that month I have dissembled the engine for a checkup and solve some issues.
new coated bearings added.
modefying the oil pan
had some issue with the fuel lins starting to leak, had to make neew one
braking in the engine went ok i think
18 May i went to the local drag strip
Waiting for the tecnical and safty inspection...
Some of my friends joined me...
Then at the third run i broke the rear diff my best time was 10.40s that day and 1,8s 60ft
when i got home i drained the diff and it fell out some toth..
i think i am missing somthing here.
I think i can glue it together
last night i putted in my spare diff a torsen so now i got 2x trorsen =P
I have to go easy on this one.

Rebuilded the dash and ades some displays,
Testing testing.
picked up some go fast tyers.
i have been chasing 8" whide rims but its imposible to find so i have to use my trackday rims from the ABT C5.
re painted the rims, for the event in hultsfred.
puted together a diff to use at hultsfred.
did a smal test drive.
race ready.
Rain at the dragrace event,
any way i got to make 6runs
managed to set the best et for the year and best 60ft before i broke the output shaft.
ready for my home trip.
one more output shaft for the scrapbox

Action report,
last weekend i wnt to a drag event at action meet.
Ready for leaving the town.
Waiting out side the drag strip.
5 race ready cars from my town växjö, (Peter Öhman, anton Jhansson, Jocke wallin, Micke Edstrand)
on the first run i managed to beat my old pb from 2012 With 0,0016s, felt realy good to beat my pb during friday.
run no 2 went like a dream and resulted 9.92s and best 60ft at 1:53s Guess if i was happy.
According to some sources, is my sport quattro replica the fastest sport quattro replica in Sweden now.
run no 3 ended with blown diff, caused by by me .
I was going in pre Stage set when the officials asked me to turn off the engine because of a leak.
when they checked under my car so they saw no leak o asked me to proceed into the stage.
My mistake was that did't reversed and started over and locked the diff again.
as it resulted to a shoveled diff, less fun for me. Lucky I is not shoveled house when Hadde been oil on the grid.
Luckily, broght an extra Torsen diff and a regular s2 diff that was teard down in to pices.
The guys at the white trash racing welded the new diff.
It probably took 2 hours for it to cool down so i could put together a complete diff.
One challenge was to put together a diff in the pits when you dont have all the tools with you.
did manage to expand the crown wheel and reassemble diff during the evening.
morning put it in place under the car.
Day 2 icompleated atleast 4 runs i drove 10.05s and some 10.xxs last run i ran in the right lane when it
burst again.
it felt like the output shaft but then I heard some loud noisies. Those were the longest 402m run, i did think one o another during that time.
The rest of the day she was to stand down. Ended up as 2nd in awd after Michael Jensen Golf Synchro R36T.
