The main reason is that otherwise the radiator won't fit in front of the car. Another advantage is that we loose some weight this way. We don't believe that loosing the weight will have a mayor effect on crankshaft.

It has been quiet for a while, not because we didn't do anything, but because we were very bussy, so what did we do.

Slowly we getting to are end goal, we finished the chassis, and we decided what kind of suspension we are going to use, this will be 'hardware' of H&R, dampers/inserts of AST en springs of Eibach. But the build of it will take some more time than expected, so we changed are plan a bit and we will start with the bodywork now.

The new radiator is in its place, it is a radiator of a Subaru Impreza, and ofcourse we had te make some adjustments to make it work for us, with many thanks to Veenstra's Equipment.

We rebuild the frames of the chairs, because these were still on rails (because of Dutch MOT, which had changed now)

Fuly new inlet tubing, and a bit bigger.

              Hello!

Could you tell me why you do use wide clamps with the silicon hoses?

I have slim and wide ones but one forum member told me that the slim ones are better to torque + 2bar of boost....because they are able to push more pressure in the same space....

              Is this correct?

              I want to learn

              Thanks!

Do you really need that much extra width to get the car stable for some time-attack races?

                    Comment

                    • Well the car is not even that much wider, about 2,5cm each side. We believe that the extra width and lowering the car will result in more grip. The fenders are even widered more, because we wand to put the tyers out of the wind.
