We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links
The car now has 460hp. But I have an issue with the wastgate, which results in not adequate been able to control the boost. We find out we have to use a lighter spring and another valve.
When this is done the car be mapped again, how many HP this will result in I'm not sure but 550hp should be possible (the 1.000cc injectors might be the botleneck).
The car is running on Bio-Ethanol (E85). Because of the relative small turbo I'have high horse power with litle turbo gap.
Two weeks ago we had a Time Attack event in Holland, the results are:
- Winner of the qualification;
- Fastest laptime of my class for that day;
- Second in the final.
I saw the car on nürburgring when I was there in May, it looked were good indeed. Looked pretty racing with that rear diffusor, have you noticed any differences with or without? Do you bring your own e85 to the nordschleife? I didnt dare to map mine to e85 because its so hard to find in germany
Well when the rear diffuser was build at te same time with some other updates, so I can't tell how good it works. But I have no bad expierence with it. The rear diffuser works at best with a splitter up front and en totaly flat bottom. I think the splitter will be realised this winter and a flot bottom maybe later.
In Germany there ar not much tankstations. In Holland we have a bit more en I'm lucky to have a tankstation nearby my house. For Germany we take some Jerry tanks with us, just enough for the weekend.
Saturday 30th and sunday 31th of July I will be at Cadwell Park for a trackday (Saturday) and the Time Attack event on Sunday. So if you wand to see my project Audi S2 in real live feel free to visit us at the paddock!
