Is there an option to go downwards? This doesn't look healthy for that engine, kind of astmatic?

Hi T.
U can start by buing the correct filter. HKS´s largest isn´t that big and will fit much easier than the K&N. I can send U a series of pictures from my construction. That will give some good ideas.

Hi again
I had the MAF installed between filter and turbo. The engine wasn´t running very well. Then I moved it to the pressure side close to the intakemanifold. I have never seen this on any other car but it runs superfine now. Earlier it would not run steady at idle and sometimes just die. If U mount it the same way U don´t have to think about the MAF being only 75 mm. I would mount filter in the bottom next to clima compressor.
I will see if I can find the pictures.

Hi again
I have fitte a larger turbo than on the picture but still it is no problem.
My intake is 80 mm. The 90 degree bend U wan´t to install on the turbo is puite restrictive but I can see that it is the only option.
Sorry about the bad pic. I will home at my own PC tomorrow and I will send U better pictures.
Keep the spirit up. It is worth it...

As U can see I haven´t got that much space with that big inlettube.

I have seen pics online of cars with the MAF after the turbo and before the throttle body. Since it is detecting the mass, does it matter that it is after the turbo, or does something need to be done to compensate?Originally posted by SøernS2Hi again

I can check for pics, but not anytime soon!
Timucin, these issues you're facing suck! How did the exhaust manifold get made so far without these things being worked out? Was that manifold custom made for you? (by you? I wasn't sure by the pics and what I read.)
I need a/c here too. Today we are supposed to have a high of 109f (~43c), and if that wasn't enough, we are expecting to have rolling blackouts (power outages) due to our electrical switching stations catching fire!

Not to mention kids going out into the desert to ride dirt bikes, getting dehydrated, and being found dead under a tree!

Ok, well back to the scheduled thread.

p.s. I hope the RS Tuning EM doesn't create problems like this!
