The ones on my car in the picture are the 18 x 8 ET32 version that were originally spec'ed for the D2 A8, which fill the arch wells to the edge nicely.

Unfortunately not Wolfi. I'm trying to be understanding. I told them they have until the end of February to finish. If I don't see any progress soon I'm going to go get the car and take it somewhere else. I've already been "interviewing" other painters just in case.

Well today was to be D-day for the painters. I had a couple of friends lined up to assist in the retrieval of the RS2, but the weather threw a monkey wrench into my plans for operation "RScue". As Paul can attest, we hardly ever get snow in Georgia and if we do it's a slushy mess that refreezes over night which creates chaos on the roads. We actually got a nice dry fluffy snow, but the pavement was warm when the snow first began so it melted as it hit. This in turn froze last night as temps dropped. This morning we have 2.5 inches of snow on top of a nice layer of ice. Not really something I wish to pull a trailer loaded with my prize project car on. I'll try again next weekend.

David, I am still in awe over what has happened to you. I cannot even begin to fathom that there are people on this earth that could do such a thing to a fellow human being. Talk about cruel. I don't have much to offer in terms of parts, but if I can help in any way please don't hestitate to ask.

Not much to report. The RS2 is still with the painter. They have done some prep work, but no blue yet. I have not visited their shop for 3 weeks now. This weekend I plan to pay them a visit. This is absolutely killing me.

Ya mon. It's unbelievable. It doesn't matter who I get to paint my cars it's always the same crap with them. It took me 9 months to get my S4 painted. Thanks for reminding me!
