Just had look after a steam cleaning session, the harness with the white stripe (not the engine one) goes through the highest large hole, not the one its in now!

I took a long hard look at your pictures earlier today and then went to the garage to look at the harness again. I have to go on little clues like wear spots and impressions left from where the harness was tied down with those little black "ladders". After checking out the harness and your pics I would agree. I'm going to move it to the top and see how that works.

Thank you so much for digging deeper to get an answer for me.

Dest, I installed the hatch handle linkage per your instructions. Everything works as it should. I didn't install the lock cylinder due to the fact that I don't have all my taillights yet. Thank you for your help!

Haha. I got the rear brake calipers on last night and I would have some but the pics I took turned out terrible. I'll get you some real soon, OK? Hang in there.

I had a few hours this evening to fiddle around with the RS2. I had been looking forward to getting the engine harness installed ever since I got the car back. Tonight was the night. Pulling the harness through are really easy with the fuse box removed. From the engine bay I put one hand down through the fuse box hole and the other obviously in the engine bay. I just pass connectors from one hand to the other. Easy street.

I had previously assembled the horn/series resistor so it was an easy bolt on. The lighting harness also contains the wiring for the horn so I went ahead and hooked them up. Radiator ducting also in picture.

Bolted up the rear brake calipers, attached the side brackets for the rear bumper along with the cabin vent and a couple of grommets.

                              A shiny new Betaflex-D aerial.

Another grill pic. Also caught the truck grill.

An odd view of the cabin from the rear. It's hard for me to believe this area will soon be filled with black, blue, and carbon. I can hardly wait.
