I am swapping onto full S2 running gear over winter. I want to use it a bit at the end of this year so need to think what to do. If it didn't have the line on there you would never know! I wouldn't want one to break it could do a bit of damage flailing around!

Its a bit false really. Had to run the car rear wheel drive again becuase the wheel base is too short for the rollers to close up enough. So they have had all 700bhp through them!

Wow, time to get some stronger shafts!! Or would you rather break a shaft than something else??

So basically I was just wondering who painted yours as it looked amazing when I saw it, and clearly whoever painted it knows how to paint a car with a cage in.
Glad you like the build! There are runs in my paint, cages are a ****** to paint. The fella doing mine hated it and said he didn't want to do another cage!

Was back on the dyno again today at TEG Sport in Carnforth to finish off the mapping. We had a few issues with the dyno which meant no print out. Working out the injector duty cycle its making 700bhp at 2.2 bar boost on VP import race fuel. Big thanks to Dave Rowe for all the mapping and twisting both rear shafts through 90 degrees!

The tilton pedal box is excellent. It has an edjustable pedal ratio which means it isn't rock hard to push unlike the compbrake one. I am running .625 on the front and .7 on the rear for master cylinders.

    Hope that helps?
Thanks for the reply, that certainly helps. I plumped for 17.8mm (0.7") front & 20.6mm (0.81") rear so not to dissimilar, although caliper piston sizes obviously matter, shouldn't be too far off for a starting point. Considering your not a fabricator you have some awesome TIG ability there mate, well played

    Speedhunter images aren't bad either

Once again, cracking effort and what a result

One question, how are you finding the Tilton pedal box without servo assistance? I would be very interested in knowing which master cylinders you have compared to the total piston area of your front & rear calipers if its not too much to ask, I have the same one for my A4 quattro sport and haven't got round to plumbing it in yet.

A couple of pictures have poped up on the speedhunters website from Prescott.

The manifold and downpipe have been modified to get the bigger wastegate on to keep the boost in check.

I had the car down at the Retro Rides Gathering at Prescott over the weekend. Got 7 runs up the hill. The car ran without any issues which was great. It seemed to handle ok but I wasn't pushing that hard.

2.40 into this video is the first run. First time I had ever given it some proper stick:

The car is hopefully back on the dyno very soon to make some proper power!
