Ok, so I have now sold the Haltech, and ordered a Vi-PEC ecu. Ray Hall from Autronic, have got his own ecus, and it looks VERY promising and a VERY good price: http://www.vi-pec.com/page_files/V88.html
Sorry, not yet. Have got the Vi-PEC ecu, but have not installed it yet. Have become a dad now, and do not have as much time to spend on cars right now. Have also been a little busy with mapping customer cars, and installing a new clutch and Vi-PEC in my Evo 2.
Had a hope to compete in a dragracing event at Gardermoen, but are invited to a wedding the same weekend, so I dont have any particular date to be ready with the car.
Ok the car is now up and running with the new Vi-PEC ecu Started at first try.
Have had problems with alot of pressure in crankcase, so must sort that out before pushing it on the dyno. Will try to file a new set of rings with 0,05 mm less gap, and break it in nicely. Hope that will solve the blowby problem.
No I did not have to cut that much, but the bonnet were already destroyed by the previous owner, so I didnt care. It had no "storm hook" (directly translated from Norwegian) and when he was out driving, the bonnet opened and destroyed the window
Yes actually I have finally managed to break in the rings (yes it took me about a year to drive 1000 km....), and I have the car at the dyno right now. I will first map it on pump fuel and then I will fill it with E85 and make another map for it. It will take a little time as usual because I will do alot of logging and I will also be testing several different knock devices, including the internal Vi-PEC V88 knock sensor circuit which is even able to detect which sylinder that knock and pull timing from that cylinder only.
If it surives the dyno, I will post some pictures of car and dyno sheet when finished
