      Jas,

Ive fixed the parse issue for you. Excellent work on your motor too, like fatty said you wouldn't know its the same car.

There may be a reason for the thumbnail size being necessary that I've missed, but someone in the know might advise?

Mind you, can't load a photo onto this forum to save my life.
David, Its mainly to make threads more readable, users have the option of the gallery or uploading to threads. When you view the image you can also click on the image to view the original large image in a new window too.

As for uploading Jas pointed out the FAQ section of the site which should answer your question. But when you post if you 'go advanced' and click manage attachments you upload them from the pop up box.

Cool, cheers Greg, I've amended my post above to show the code.
Thanks for the thoughts on the car mate, same goes to Steve. I've had a few people say it's a different car, but if you look close, you can see the dent still in the roofline above the rear offside door .

She's currently undergoing some close scrutiny, the MOT.
        Fingers crossed.

          Very funny!

No, a proper project that, well done.

I wish I had time for that sort of thing these days....

Oh well I still have this to play with!

            Cute Steve

Oh well, Sooty failed her MOT. Boooo, the only bloody front suspension part I didn't replace. I thought they were ok, but apparently not.
She failed on front wishbone bushes.

Just as well I have a mighty parts stash. Two brand new pressed wishbones with bushes and balljoints (might as well fit them too) bought off ebay last year for £45, for both, not each
Everything else 100% ok, even the usual let down of a rear number plate bulb being off didn't happen.

            Not bad that.

Well done Jase, lovely car you have now, just goes to show what a bit of hard work and a few used parts can do to make a stunning on-off car. I have an 80 saloon sitting here, in black and i plan to do something similar with it, alway's been a big fan of the 80's and it just goes to show you can polish a t**d, no offence meant. I have been buying up a few bits and pieces as and when funds allow (new house purchase) and will attempt to have a play very soon, btw have you seen these on ebay

Well done pal. Credit to you, good luck eith the fingers

Been meaning to get a boost gauge fitted to the old stinker as I'm interested to see what boost the teeny weeny little Garret T1 produces.

I have a white faced gauge that was used in the past on the S2, but Sooty doesn't have white faces so it would have looked a bit odd.
I've been keeping my eye on fleabay for a while, but all the black faced one seemed way too bloody fussy.
I just want a black faced, no fuss gauge that would half resemble the rest of the dash. Nice and plain and in BAR, not PSI.
Eventually found one. The main advert pic showed it as a dash pod type gauge, euurwwwwggg not on your nelly, it's an Audi not flippin Subaru :, so a quick question to the seller revealed the gauge itself came as a bare 52mm gauge, you could fit it in the supplied dash mount pod only if you wanted to.

It arrived the other day and what a well supplied gauge it is too It's got everything you could possibly want to fit in any situation.
Loads of brass connectors, some supplied boost/vac pipe, you can either leave the illumination white, or it has a green or red cap to change the illumination. Some heatshrink, a T-piece for tapping into the existing boost/vac line into the ECU, a couple of rubber sleeves and a securing ring that screws to the rear of the gauge to secure it in a 52mm mount.

Well chuffed with it, all for £16.99 and £4.99 delivery it was a bargain.
The alloy mount obviously wasn't supplied, that came from ebay.de last year and will be sprayed a satin black like the one I have in the S2.
It'll be fitted to the centre vent at the top of the centre console and will be wired up to the glovebox light feed.
Just need it to stop raining and I can enlist the help of me bro to gain access to the boost/vac line of the ECU for me (I ain't crawling around the passenger footwell) and then I can do the rest.

Could well be, I'm not expecting it to go to 1.4 bar like the S2 does
Be interesting to see what boost the little T1 produces, it's gotta be over 0.5bar (I hope) cos I really do feel the shove it gives.

They give a nice shove when running ~1bar. :mischeif: And 3rd gear wheelspins in the rain. Watch out for those white lines when overtaking.

It's still strange seeing a boost gauge that doesn't go to vacuum and runs boost when you're just cruising.

It'll spin in third now in the rain if pushed. Strange thing wheelspin when you aren't used to it
