          The third stage!:

Because I was not satisfied with the performance gained I decided in Oct 2007 to go the GT3071R route. with a kit from 034 motorsport excl. the ECU software.
Forget about the motor mounts for the B5. Something went wrong ordering them and now I have got the correct street density ones for a B4

At first I had the idea to run the GT3071R on the STR manifold, but since I was not sure if it would allow the GT3071R turbo to flow to it's potentional I bought the Wagner HO EM

See at the following picture the comparison of the RS2, a K27/26#8 and the GT3071R turbos + the RS2 EM, my old STR EM and the new Wagner EM

I also modded my airbox a bit further so it fits now next to the GT3071R turbo.

And closed up the front a bit, so all cold air is directed towards the box inlet

O yes, here is a final picture of the GT3071R turbo in place on the Wagner EM after 4000 km's of running.

A Dutch tuner did the mapping, and I must say I am happy with it. The car pulls strong from 3500 to redline and after some flat-out sessions I smell the OEM RS2 clutch. That clutch is just 20.000km new. So now I am thinking of replacing the clutch some day with a Sachs Organic Race clutch and a lighter flywheel.

I still had no time to go to a rolling road so to be hounest I can not tell how much NMs and HP I would have. I have 1.8 bar at 3500 rpm and from 5000 rpm it hits 2.0 bar. At the redline again back to 1.8 bar. This was done by my tuner to spare the clutch a bit, since the turbo comes in so incredible hard

very nice results! The organic clutch is a must for the power hp.I have the spec stage3+ clutch that is good for 550hp crank and it holds nicely, although it needs a bit getting use to at first,
if i were you i wouldnt change the double mass flywheel as it is stronger than a lighter flywheel in the long run
