Things have changed, hydraulic hanbrake is allowed nowadays.
But has to be aproved by RDW. Only thing you need is a version with some kind of lock-up mechanism on the lever.

Many MOT guy's in The Netherlands are not aware of this and stick to the old rules....and tell you it's not allowed, they are totaly wrong.

(for example....I always had trouble getting MOT for my 1963 VW buggy.
-Most of them told me my car was poluting to much.....because of it's age it doesn't need to be MOT'ed for that.
-There are no flashing turninglights on the car.....yes indeed, look at those little things on my windscreen, if I move this lever to the left...they will come out and point the direction I'm about to go to...and it's street legal.
I had so many fights about this...and always got my MOT )

Don't always believe what the MOT guys tell you, do your own research and know for sure.

    T'hat's a nasty damage.....feel sorry for you!

we ussually put a switch to the brake light. when they test the parking brake on the mot, i just switch the light off and push the brake pedal.
if we dont have hydraulich parking brake.

How did you manage the parking brake on the rear hubs? Or are you running RS2 hubs?
