        lind4hl - Cup Wheels

Are you using the standard RS2 7 x 17 Cups or are you going for the 8 x 17 Porsche Cups?

If so, are you opening out the centre of the hub of each Porsche Cup wheel or taking a little bit of metal off the three prongs on the centre of the RS2 Hubs?

No wonder Scandinavian cars are so quick, if this is owner's specification at 17.

Wish I knew then what I know now.

        Thanks !

          Nice project!

Is your cup lip/splitter for the front bumber up for sale or are you still going to use it? (I am interessed if you will sell it...)

are you going oversize with the pistons? Otherwise I would stay with the stockers as they are good for ~750 hp with a good tuner

                              little work done today

                              started like this:

it has not gone lean, (boost problems in the summer) only 1 crack in the head 4cyl. will be welded when it´s getting ported and polished.

                              then it looked like this:

on wednesday i will take out the valves, get the head washed, then wait for my friend to port and polish it then light-weight lifters, stiffer springs and titanium retainers

still waiting for powdercoat parts also...

                                little update today:

washed all parts in a huge automatic heat washer. and then glassblasted the valve cover and head.

the head is going to be glassblasted again after the valves has come out and also glassblast the valves. som pictures

the crap in the right corner is gone now

the only crack in the head, is goint to be fixad also (4cyl)

i also bought 4L Redline MT-90 for the gearbox and 1L Redline Heavy Shockproof for the rear diff. Will change the oil tomorrow and finishing the cleaning of gearbox and rear diff.
