If you know the pressure and pulse width it should be fairly easy to work out

The engine and setup would take it no problem... just need bigger injectors and a remap

Sure, I know. Just saying what I would use. Can be that 2.75" to 3" has no effect at all, but you never know.

It's a coupe 3" over the back axle isn't easy plus it's only the end section of the exhaust where the gases have cooled enough for it not to be a big issue.

For 500hp I would use minimum 3" exhaust. Of course your turbo hot side might also be the restriction why the engine is not breathing so good as would be possible with a fully ported head. You need a bigger turbo.

There'll be a few jobs waiting for you on mine then...

    1) Wire in Aquamist kit to the ECU.
    2) Expose wires from the ECU for VAGCOM/Fastdiags.
    3) Remap with cams and WMI.

Has anyone done the math on flow-rates with dual 1.0mm jets? E.g. If i use the 5l screenwash tank, at full-rate how long will it last?

Dmitri, would you recommend a 50/50 mix?

There are different sensors. The RS4 MAF has the same sensor as a specific 2.5 TDI one I think, but don't hold me to it.
Some sensors read more some sensors read less.

WMI - dual 1.0mm jets is very good.
Aquamist has a failsafe, which can be either wired into the ECU to do map switching or it can just turn off your N75.

Interesting that part number just brings up a picture of the sensor ( which Bosch do not list as a separate item ) and it does not say it's Bosch

I just ordered the exchange MAF from Bosch today and it was £79. Not in stock at the moment so about a week from Germany, but I'm in no rush.

thats the kit I've got but after listening to various opinions/ideas I have gone for a smaller jet as I don't want my engine to rely on a 50/50 mix and then run out of the mixture, I'm not that conscientious......where would the engine find the missing fuel!.... why not try the AEM that was on sale on the forum a bit back

I am only after reducing inlet temps and any further power increases will only be a un-expected bonus....

speak to Richard at Aquamist, he is great at answering the most stupid of questions ( I should know I asked a lot....)

If the water meth plus cams give me anywhere >480bhp i'd be very happy. 500bhp would be awesome

That would be a fairly conservative estimation on WMI no? Between 15-20% when fully mapped for it?

    What is your exhaust setup?

gald you sorted this and with minimal pain......I'd better keep an eye on my maf now as if Jamo suggests it is a service item better find a good place for replacements....

The S2 was due to be going into Quattro Coachworks in January but currently on hold until they get their new unit up and running and whilst the car was being problematic!

There's always something on the cards with the S2, but the cams, aquamist and a remap seem like a very good and cost-effective upgrade which will hopefully come to ~£1500 all-in and take me from 430bhp / 600Nm to 480bhp / 600Nm which about a 10% increase in power output at top-end.

I want the hfs-3 with twin 1.0mm injectors, right?
