saw now.. you cant use a silicon piece there.. it will blow loose in seconds.

also, at the mushroom filter, do a weld 5mm from the edge so you get an higher edge that holds the clamp back, got it?

I am having lessons

Its bloody hard to start getting there now, lind4hl gave me a few tips to.

i think i will just weld it, need to stop spending money and drive

You don't even need a clamp there just the hose, it's just suction not any pressure at all, but ofc you should always have a clamp there, if you weld it to the intake pipe, servicing will be a PITA.
Just go with a silicone straight connector the same color as everything else under the bonnet to match. It will be fine. I promise
