Cheers for the comment's chaps,
.
To add insult to injury the screen broke on my laptop the same day I reversed into the wall so I only have limited internet access at the moment.
In a way I was lucky that corner was so rotten as it gave before the indecent helping prevent damage further away from the point of impact, which fortunately was very close to the towing eye. So brutal as it may seem the JCB did a great job of pulling thing's straight again, these cars are so solidly built that I was confident we wouldn't pull it apart. I be interested to see what happened to say a Maestro if given the same treatment,
.
I had to remove the tank to get at the damage, the repair I did to the breather outlet wasn't connected to the accident, I happened to noticed it whilst looking at the damage. The main boot floor is fine but I need to remove the tank to get at the rear panel properly, also there were a couple of slight ripple's in the back of the wheel arch tub which I tapped out whilst the car was under tension.
I've gotten the car pretty much straight now and am at the stage where I just have a couple more small but somewhat complicated repair sections to fabricate and weld in before I can give the rear panel a little bit more of a beating.
The damage under the nearside rear light was caused by some sod reversing into me and isn't related, but I'm going to finish of repairing it and get some paint on whilst doing the back end.

This is what makes this forum great. Full of people who like to help others keep these old cars going. In Kit's case old and very fast car
