Nice work Eric, a real reference thread.

    Thanks.

Hope to see it when it's done.

Won't be long, given your current progress.

Thanks, Yea, I was inspired by your yellow cad
I am not very organised, so I am plating as I assemble. After the scare last year with the blaster outfit loosing parts for months I decided to do them myself.
Its copy cad, or zinc chromate. The kit I got was from classic-plating.co.uk.

The colour you see above is just primer. I am keeping original colour. LZ5T

Should have final colour pics in the coming days

The car is due back next weekend.

    1. Early URs had 2 levers on the floor, with mechanical operation.

    2. First year or 2 of WR had a pull swich on the centre console, pulled half way for centre diff and all the way for both diffs. (I have this on my ur)

The other 2 as per your 2 and 3

Did you buy a zinc plating kit or get them done? Your blaster is certainly paying for itself

    and the paint......what colour?

Ok, enough playing around with LEDs, back to the nuts and bolts.

Got some time to work on the engine over the last few nights.

Did a bit of playing with the zinc plating

tommisbillet lower pully with diamond washer and key.

    Replaced the flametrap.

New seals on the water Manifold

    Recon turbo thanks to mcandmar.

New MFTS among other new sensors

    Coming together nicely.

    Almost there now.

And a little teaser of whats to come
