Sprayed the discs with hotpaint today.
Looks great in the pictures anyway :mischeif:

Testmounted the front callipers, some adjustments to the brackets needed.
Bigger discs would look better but this was the easiest way with my rimms.

Did some work today in the garage ...

Just thought I'd assemble the hand brake, but after I installed it all together, it felt wrong. Turned out that I received the wrong guide sleeves for the second time... too short
Easily seen when there is another Rs2 in the garage.
                        The drive shafts rear mounted.

How would you do with the rear brake lines.
The easiest way is to go with barained lines all the way from the front of the rear subframe to the distributor then out to the callipers? (Pic)
Are there disadvantages with brained hoses instead of hardpipes?

This build goes just slower on slower... how the hell do you find time and money when there is so much other fun stuff in the winter, snowboarding, snowmobiling etc.

We have about 1 meter of snow here at home now, powder.

                          Anyways...

Got a package from CP's today... Packages are always fun.

                          Manifold and a Tial 44

                            Hey Thomas

Great looking project sir. My engine build is very similar to yours. I also have 2.5 liters bu I went with the shorter 92.8 crank and bored my cylinders out a touch to accept the 83.0mm pistons. I also run the CT43-6768 BK turbo from Comp with the new billet compressor wheel. I also run 2000cc Injector Dynamics injectors with E-85. My setup dynoed 755hp at the wheels at 36 lbs of boost before the billet wheel was installed. I can't wait to see where we are with the new compressor. Please keep us updated on your build.

Hap, wit dakine stroker not from Evahboost, Maguire

I don't think you can have too much power for the street. The caveat to that statement would be that the car should also be streetable. It should idle nicely and have a quickness to it coming off the line. I've posted some driving impressions of my car that explain this further.
