Definately not matt black, engine bay is satin black and I want it to contrast yet compliment the rest of the car. Definately not brown never been into turds on wheels.
That pipe next to the maf was going to be the water return of the wastegate which I temporarily stuck a blanking cap on. As im now going for a 60mm wastegate this is redundant and will instead become the pipe that controls the bov once I make the intake mani.
Why is your wastgate too small? Can you not keep boost under control? Seems unusual, as some of are USA friends run with wastgate disconnected eg blocked shut to push their turbo to the limit. The turbine is most efficient when no gas bypasses it.... Hence the term "waste" gate.
Is there poor flow into out out of the gate? Try a dump tube for a quick test. It's hard to believe you can build much boost at all with a 2 inch hole in the exhaust manifold, eg wastegate fully open dumping to atmosphere.
Are you trying to run low boost on a big turbo. Just trying to get my head round your problem.

boost is about boosting to a set level and when you reach that level you bypass exhaust gass to keep it at that level
JP has so much exhaust flow that if he wanted 1 bar boost and opened the wastegate fully the boost still keeps rising to say 1.8 bar because the wastegate cannot dump enough gas to stop the turbine spinning to stop boost rising.
He needs a bigger wastegate to be able to dump more exhaust gas to stop the boost rising.
You only keep a wastegate shut until you reach your boost target then you dump off the excess gas to keep it there.
And all is about how the engine flows. Better flow, less boost for reaching the same hp level. Boost is the result of restriction.

but his current wastegate seems to be bigger and better than the stock for sure true?
so,if stock is good up to 550/600Hp easily.and this one is bigger and not enough... what crazy boost levels and exhaust flows will manage?
my race engine has stock wastegate and works perfectly...and its breathes very well as Prj says
