Never used a 4 port solenoid always a 2 port one that came with the boost controller. It worked so therefore decided to stick with it. No need for extra ports imo.

And Rocco turbo is a owen developments hta 3586 with tial .82 hotside

But going 1->2 should be possible without boost drop, if the gearbox wants to play ball.

^^^^^ lol you got there before me. Definetely not spool that quick I'd like to be on full pelt before 4500 hopefully around 4200 but we'll see engine redlines at 8000 so the powerband is wide enough to stay on boost as prj says but may have to do wot shifting mod in order for the gearbox to play ball as I've allready done 1st to 2nd 3 times now.

Well the HTA 3582 comes on full tip at 4100rpm on the 2.2 on the installs I've seen, the 3586 should only be a few rpms from this. On a strokker 4000-4300 is realistic I think

Will see how it all works out as my cam profile makes it come in slightly later to allow me to go to 8k. As far as lag goes it doesn't bother me just change gear lag gone.

So long I stay in the powerband from 1st to 2nd I'm happy.

Modified the a core plug with an aeroquip fitting and made up an adapter for the oil feed too.




Feel sad to have done it but she had to get wrapped as not going ceramic coating again after it peeled the last time.




Turbo and wastegate mocked up to start running the lines




Boost run made up to mate onto the old system, turbo compressor housing polished to reflect heat and the stainless backing plate made for the HKS filter.




All the lines made up and turbo inlet machined down to gain some instal distance




Downpipe and screamer pipe made up, put a flexi in the screamer pipe incase I decide to plumb it back into the system further down, all comes down to noise reg's at the local tracks.




Downpipe wrapped ready for Black VHT paint aka 650celsius stove paint




New stainless HKS adapter fitted to turbo




Ended up grooving and individually flaring out section by section before tig welding it up again to get a snug interference fit.




Poss my favourite bit of fabrication ever




Will bolt downpipe and screamer pipe up tomorrow. Heat shield the boost pipe crank the engine to feed the turbo with oil connect the oil drain up and fire her up.

Once confirmed running with no leaks The boys at Quattro Coachworks will strip her down for the colour change. Have to say without the use of their workshop and ramp the last 10 days I couldn't have done the swap and fabrication so fast so a big thumbs up to them.

That would be the seriously over engineered recirc valve.
