Thankyou guys, as for group buy can't realistically see it happening. Not only has it been made to fit as a one of but the man hours exceed a 120. + cost of materials, welding gas, billet components, milling time etc.... Retail would be getting on for £3.5k to make it viable to make again. Realistically only viable because it was my own time coming in at a fraction of the cost

That turned out excellent JP. The polishing also adds another dimension.
I hope after anodising that it will still look perfect around the welds. that usually the area that anodising will not be that nice....

Should hopefully work out good as we used alloy rod with no silicon content. Silicon in the alloy causing the issues with anodising. I realise it's going to loose a little bit of the high polish bling factor but nothing too drastic as discussed this with the coaters today and they're not going to edge dip it to retain as much shine as poss in the clearcoat.

They agreed though that chrome plating was not the way to go, too blingy not enough purpose.

Time will tell as picking it up fri morning

Overexhaustion of trying to do too many late nights ontop of work has meant a dose of manflu has caught up with me so didn't get round to doing an update yesterday.

I did however manage a bit of tidying up today in the bay and resolved my throttle cable issue so will upload some pics later on if I don't fall asleep.

I know how you feel JP, I do contact snow clearence and salting on the side ontop of my landscaping, have found myself zombified trying to catch 2 hours sleep every day for four or five days! Sleep deprevation is damaging to a mans soul.

Sack the pictures, relax with the family and get an early night
