      Reason for the spacer. With the RS2 inlet manifold the air tube ends up 20mm too short to mate with the TB hose.

          Looks excellent john, I like the violet detailing are you going for samco's when they arrive too?

          where did you get your polishing done? I have a couple of bits i still want to get done.

            Yeah violet and silver, it had to be done, eh? The violet bolts came from Probolt.
            Samcos will be black though as I think their purple would be a bit too much. There's a few bits of Samco blue for the WGFV etc.

            Polishing was done by a local guy Pete uses, I'll try and get the number.

                  Another standard S2 bites the dust and enters the world of modified bling

                  Nice bling though - I do like some anodised fitting and the polished stuff must have taken ages. Probably more practical (easier to clean) than the factory finish...

                    Well, what can I say !!!! Its looking great John. Just shows with a bit of time and thought an engine can be made to look excellent, as yours shows. Keep it up. How the beast is back on the road again soon.

                            whats the difference with the EM i know the inside of the standard 3B manifold is crap cause of all the storks running through it causing turbulance

                              instead of the runners all meeting at pretty much the same place at the entry to the turbo the runners for cylinders 1+5 on the stock manifold meet higher up practically at the wastegate, which isnt good for a tuned car, think they get a lot hotter than the other 3.
