These are the new summer wheels for the coupe, I've put a set of Pilot Sports om them, the RXs are 18 x 8.5 so I'm going to try them on the RS4

Just stock springs and Koni sports, with RS2 FARB and Whiteline rear. Shocks are 1.5 turns from soft on front and 1/2 turn on the back, really good balance.Comment

I've been looking for the BBS centre caps all week, today I remembered they're OZs though
Really been enjoying the car again this last few weeks.
The next phase is about to start now.
Dash out, remove last bits of aircon, fit non-aircon heater box with new matrix.
Fit / modify loom for 5 coil conversion.
Fit 034 HO coils, ABY ECU.

Very nice John, i encountered the same problem fitting your 3b seats to a cabrio. After all these years i never noticed the lever switched sides on later cars. I did it a different way, i didnt have any material to knock up a mount for the back support at home so i made 2 brackets at work to switch the locking pin to the other side of the centre mount on the car floor.
Seen a few 3b's with RS2 seats fitted over the years but couldn't find and mention of a solution on the forum. One to remember for 3B owners looking for RS2 Recaro's.
Time for me to make a couple of these then, how appropriate that it was Martin who made them and posted the pics in this thread!Comment

Looks great John, I'm going to give mine a try back on the stock springs when my second set of Compbrake top mounts arrive this week. The H&R's are no advantage on bumpy roads though their bloody good on decent surfaces, need to be sure I'm 100% happy with it before I get the alignment done properly.1990 B3 2.0 80 quattro.

Heater box swap, scary pics, only took an hour and a half to get to this.

Just for the record, the 2 boxes side by side, the dead matrix and the missing and rotten foam on the flaps!
