Yes it feels much better to the point i have turned the boost down now only run 1.8 bar it still feels very responsive i.e holding a steady speed in second and then booting it it will very quickly still loose traction from all four wheels.
Will now only pull circa 1.5bar in 1st where as before it would get to 2+ no problem. And feels stronger at the top 4th gear now is immense and no surge..
My manifold is only good for 450bhp and the compressor housing will do that easily (so Craig from Cr Turbo's tells me..) That said it is simple to replace the cover and fit a 76 wheel but he tells me that will introduce quite a lot of lag.
So all told i think its spot on for my needs...

Decisions decisions.
Damo: I dont suppose you have a dyno plot with the std RS2 turbo so you can see the difference in the curves - assuming that the MD357 is only part that changed. 350bhp does sound a bit light as I thought the std turbo could make 360 with a good remap, Im sure I'll find the answer to that question somewhere on this forum.
cheers,

The car has never had an RS2 turbo on it in the time i've owned it. It came with a BB turbo of unknown origins when I bought it and I got it mapped wiht a before and after dyno run:Decisions decisions.

The never-ending chase!
Well had the car remapped. My 660cc injectors are running at 90% of their duty cycle and so this is holding it back and I can only run 1.6 bar boost. Exhaust is restrictive (a 20+ year old Scorpion!) and the inlet filter is too small (they'd sent the wrong one and it cost 25 bhp compared to the plot without it fitted).
Net result was 404bhp FWHP which was quite disappointing.
I will post the dyno plot when I get a chance.
Car went well though and the GTX3071 turbo seemed good if not fantastic.
So new injectors, better exhaust and revised inlet setup = MORE MONEY!!!

You're right Darren. Thing is the outlet from the hotside is only 2.5", it goes to a 3" downpipe. Think I'm going to run a straight through bit of pipe on the dyno just to actually see what the level of restriction is.
I'm not going to stop though, have created such a beast and beasts need constant attention!*1986 ur quattro,2.5 stroker
