I spoke to the guy from that website the other day. I dont like to bad mouth people but from our conversation, there is no way id trust him with a few £££s worth of brakes for a refurb!

and plus, the £11-12 for a seal when you can get seal, dust seal and piston for £16...its a no brainer!

design911 have the seal kits, you need one for each piston. Comes with piston seal, piston and dust seal. about £12 for the small piston and £16 for the larger piston.

over a month since the last update

Sorting the brakes out once and for all...

I've stripped and painted up the fronts - going back to the to the original red brembo look! new nipples etc ready to go on!

Hopefully have them on next weekend and she's ready to bleed up and drive! Then off to get tracked and to the paint shop

im still alive and doing this project!!! thought it was about time i start again...the colder weather wasn't tempting me back into the garage

I re-made all the rear brake lines again today after the last fiasco. The look amazing even if i say so myself.

Also stripped the front 993tt calipers down...that was a fun job! Getting the pistons out is a bit of a PITA but only snagged 2 dust covers so im taking that as successful haha getting them powdercoated this week, but in red and putting the porsche stickers back on them as they should be!

Few other jobs around...the list is getting smaller now!

There's a guy on ebay does seal kits, I'm pretty sure they're cheaper than that.

Anyway, looking good, I wonder how it will go?

got my new lines on the way...dropped into earls as its just down the road and it turns out a get a big fat discount as I work at Mercedes...bonus!!

also dropped into Porsche to find a price on seal kits for the 993tt calipers and they work out £68 per caliper i think...ouch! will be looking elsewhere i reckon!
