Been busting the mid night oil to get it ready.

So this is where i am now.

    Exhaust tunnel

    Bulk head

I am going to make a whole new exhaust again so i can loose a few more kg

This time i am going to use crushed 4" tube rather than the very expensive Oval from 316 oval.

Yeah I think you could add stops at either end. Stu posted some pics from when he stripped a 3B rack years ago I'll try and find it

You need to go LHD on the new shell for an easier downpipe route!
I think your be quite surprised of how easy my new exhaust will be.

One question for you as i know you have played with the RHD rack alot. I need to build a rack stop because where the engine has come back so far on full left hand lock i am going to hit the turbo hot side on compression.

have you got any internal pictures of the rack or a idea before i tear down this dumy one i have here on the car

    cheers Chef

Base set up last Friday took a good few hours of work I can tell you.

Dry weight is now 980kg with out the following

    Drivers seat
    Pedal box
    Bumper
    Shifter tower
    Engine harness
    Ecu

Corner weights are pretty much 250kg a corner which I couldn't ask for more!

Front geo is much improved. It would be going for paint Monday but the toe change on bump is not great so I am building a new down pipe that will pass through a tunnel on the passengers side over the top of the steering rack.

This will give me a chance to drop the steering arms to where they need to be.

Finished winter project just alittle fab work left making new steering arms for the dampers and the tunnel and new down pipe.
