On another note bracket studs are done and its back in the car again

I have to say that bracket looks tasty, the OEM bracket is decidedly wobbly, i am a little worried, because i am using delrin rod end bushes combined with the bending force it receives on full lock, that the little OEM bracket is going to succumb to fatigue at some point??

I've had the same concern myself since I installed the delrin inner bushes, guess the bracket is designed to flex a little but I'll avoid turning the steering lock to lock unless the car is moving or off the ground.

Flow test makes my old one look like it was full of sand.

surely if its ally welded it will be fine....

If you use a 5356 filler rod it's not so bad but the welds will not colour the same as the pure aluminium I have done it on a few things and just wish I left them
