cheers for this info re: water pump, may be something I look into when I have a bit more budget and the car goes back in for Turbo tweaking and stuff.

I have a friend with a K04 from a cupra R so if/when I grab that I may look at getting a metal water pump as well.

I am really surprised at the amount of support here with parts and advice, credit to the members on the site who all look out for each other, and I was in two minds about posting here because its not an S2

B4 Avant inner tailgate lights - now thats better! No more news for a while now - passat goes in tomorrow and all I have done since and will continue to do till the conversion is clean shuts, headlining and other boring things.

Not quite yet mate, got a B4 surround coming, which will be color coded when the rest of the spray work takes place, then the new plates will go on.

As for the Exhaust, I will probably end up getting a whole new custom system drawn up from someone a friend knows in Brackley :mischeif:

Just got an update from Aidan at Barhstorm (Quattronutter) and he has ripped the heart out of the Passat - man that guy works quick!

No dramas in the extraction, he will be checking everything over on Monday and swapping the cambelt

Yeah all come out easy enough, looks like gary never done anything up when he put it back together. Me and aiden tore into it and had it done quite quickly. I've been chatting with him about best way to do everything. When you taking that away and bringing the other one up?
