Nice project Pat, but did the s2 really need new paint or you just wanted a colour change?

It required new paint on the bonnet and roof, and I wanted the engine bay done as well. It probably didnt need a full respray, but there wouldn't have been much panel left untouched since the front gaurds and rear quarters would've been blended in for colour matching. Plus there's the added 'brand new' feel you get with new paint.

I have to say I'd have stuck with a factory colour maybe Pelican Blue again, but that Voodoo should look great.
Did you manage to get the riffle drilled rods in the end?

Ohh i'm so happy my Baby is getting all the attention he needed--awesome work Pat--your doing everything and more than i always wanted to do. Family and lifestyle carried me onto a different path. I will be down Sydney on the 24th July through to the 30th so we'll have to catch up. Oh and those parts you wnated --yes i still have them and they are yours.

034motorsport had them ready to ship to me and I requested they go back to Pauter for rifle drilling, and I'm still waiting I really want to get this engine build started.

I'm sure Voodoo will look quite nice on the S2, along with an RS2 bumper... Which seems to be quite an expensive item to find along with $hipping to OZ

Thanks mate, it's comong along great. I'm sure you've seen the colour on some SS series Holdens around. Quite nice looking in daylight I think. Catchup will be great. And yes the car is in good hands, it should be back in about a weeks time for re-assembly

Ha, voodoo makes it sound better. Flouro lighting in the booth isn't bringing out the colour much. Can't wait to see it when I'm back from work this weekend. I had the seats re-done as well, in black leather and black suede inserts on bottom and backrest. Door trims similar with black suede.
