How do you unplug the MAP sensor? It is soldered to the ECU pcb. Do you mean the boost/vacuum line was disconnected? If so, the maximum boost you would get would be the wastegate spring pressure of about 0.4 bar relative (about 1.4 Bar absolute).

Juddering = missing or boost leak. I've posted about both here. Boost leak testing recently. Not sure if I've posted about missing and hesitation recently so here is the link:

Sorry, I meant MAF. Upto ~1.5bar it goes without missing a beat, then it's just like hitting a wall. Fuel pump in 2.6 is the same as 2.2 isn't it?

If MAF would be bad, shouldn't it show as a fault code in vagcom?

When i had bad MAF i didnt get the code.
If your MAF is bad when u unplug it the engine shud change how it works,if nothing happens when u unplug it then your MAF is bad

When I unplug the MAF, car accelerates better. I tested two MAF sensors.

Coming from V6 ownership i think it accelerates damn well with or without sensor.

As i said, i didn't see a single change in way to drives when i unplugged maf.

In the moment when u unplug it,is engine changing the sound,drop revs?I didnt talk abouth driving it

Just tried it, Revs drop but after a second picks up again

Measuring blocks on my car are the same. When I'm driving and I give full throttle, this "load" the group 3 was 110%. How much is at your car?

As I have MOT coming up next week, had to do some essential bits. Changed fuel lines with the help of my dad. Changed oil also, from 0w50 to 5w40, still have to get rocker cover gasket and spark plugs, fuel consumption is quite big atm (18mpg) , so hope a good service will help.

Where do I get spark plug connectors, can't seem to find them anywhere?





Removed the fuel line rubbers from A100, need to fit those, otherwise rattling all the time.

Got a car on the ramp, and mate just goes "why you have missing bolts"? Turns out, most likely, company who did gearbox change (won't name them) didn't bolt subframe back in, one bolt was sheared. So I've been driving around with bolts missing.



Scrubbed off the rust in the boot, sprayed it with some zinc coating stuff, and painted red with some lacquer on top.





Spent about 7 hours today stripping the A100, and still not finished.



Does radiator from A100 fit S4 by any chance?


I might put A100 wings and bumper on S4, and sand back S4 wings and respray... don't wan't rust to eat wings away.
