A black 90 center plate would be nice but I think it looks good as it is now.

996 brake upgrade - Done
Did the front brakes today with 996 calipers and A8 323x30 Dics.
Custom RS2 brackets painted black (same color as the calipers)
Finished result.
I need to do the rear brakes as well with new pads and dics. And I want to convert it to vacuum brake booster.

I got a set of Audi s6 rims that I will use.
However they need to be sanded and powder coated.
To many projects and not enough time
Tires are actually fine.Last edited by Jonas_R; 26 May 2015, 08:01.

Suspension almost done
Finally got some time to work on the S2.
New shock absorbers, spring and upper strut bearings fitted.
Before:
Work in progress:
Did have some problems with the thread on the strut. The new bilstein shocks use much more of the thread then the old stock shocks. So took a while to clean the thread and get it usable, but worked out ok in the end.
After:
Started on the rear shock absorbers, but ran into problem with rear calipers that where very rusty and not working at all. Also the bushings in the upper transverse where completly destroyed. So new calipers and then new bushings and I will balst and count the transverse.
Rear strut assembled:

Got the rear strut fitting and then I blasted, painted and fitting new bushing for the the upper arm (don't know the english word).
However I think it sits to high on the new H&R springs will get a picture when it has settled. Anybody have measurements of the height from the ground to the top of the wheel arch, front and rear?
Also got my K24R LHD catch tank party mounted, hoping to get the rest done next time I have a couple of hours to spare.
